722500 – Maintenance
Relubrication and Maintenance of the 722500 Series
-
Lubricants
-
Bearings must be lubricated with Universal Bearing Grease NLGI 2 EP2, suitable for most applications.
-
Temperature range: –20 °C to +120 °C.
-
For low temperatures: use low-viscosity grease.
-
For operation above 100 °C: use high-temperature grease.
-
-
Relubrication
-
Relubricate bearings regularly to maintain performance.
-
Relubrication interval depends on load and operating time.
-
Check the grease level frequently to ensure proper lubrication.
-
Insufficient lubrication may cause overheating and wear.
-
-
Cleaning and inspection
-
Inspect bearings regularly for wear, damage, or contamination in the grease.
-
Verify that the bearing rotates freely.
-
Clean during inspection with a clean, dry cloth.
-
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as they may damage the bearing.
