PTI sponsored Mads Hansen is the new world champion in speedway
We are proud to be sharing the news about the local boy Mads Hansen (17 years) who has just won the world championship (U19) in speedway.
We have since 2013 been a co-sponsor for Mads, both financially but also with our products.

New improved UCF N series
Since the Japanese Industrial Standard is one of the most common standards in the bearing industry, manufacturer’s and distributor’s stock volumes are high and prices are at an all-time low. We have therefore reduced our prices on our Four Bolt Flanges (UCF) in 2017 considerably for shaft diameters Ø20 to Ø60 compared to earlier years.
We are the only manufacturer on the marked to have implemented the following benefits in our Four Bolt Flanges (UCF N):
- Hybrid European Industrial Standard design
- Reinforced housings and mounting surface, 30% stronger than the classic design.
- Bearings with triple seals as standard – improved and controlled seal friction and enhanced grease reservoir
- Recess for closed plastic cover – interchangeable with all premium brand closed plastic covers
- R1/8″ thread optimized for central relubrication solutions.
Units with the above mentioned benefits have the suffix “N”, i.e. “UCF 205 N”.
We will gladly supply samples. Also, we are always glad to provide products with i.e. individual dimensions, accessories, color, bearing and marking.

New webshop 2017
We go live with our new webshop on Monday the 14th, August 2017.
We’ve improved the functions and the operation is as easy as ever. The login procedure has improved, you only need your e-mail address and the same password as before. If you are unsure about your e-mail address or password, please contact us at csl@pti.dk
You can find our new shop at shop.pti.eu – login and the language selector are found in the upper right corner.
Some new features:
- Search preview while you type.
- Improved customer area with a top 100 of your most bought products.
- Multiple favourite lists.
- Remember the content of your shopping cart, this allows you to make an order over a longer period of time.
- The brand of the product is also visible in the new shop.
- Optimized for mobile devices also.
Bearingnet Madrid 2017
We want to express our deepest thanks to the BearingNet Team for yet another well planned and successful event in Madrid 2017.
We would equally like to thank everyone, with whom we had the pleasure to meet and talk to in person. It is always nice to meet with old friends and make new ones.
We had some very busy days with a lot of meetings just in the spirit of BearingNet meet.
We hope to meet you all again next year in Warsaw.

R6 seals – Six lipped seal bearing inserts
Did you know that we also provide our UC and HC bearing inserts with a R6 sealing?
This is an improved version of our R3 sealing. Instead of only 3 lips it has a total of 6 lips which protects the bearing against dust, dirt and water. The UC and HC bearings with R6 sealing are therefore especially suitable for hard conditions like the agriculture industry. The bearing is to be handled as a usual standard bearing, but due to the improved seals the longevity has been considerably lengthened.

Two new colleagues at PTI
Catherine Liu
In order to strengthen our sales team and to expand our purchasing department, we have, as of 01.03.2017, permanently employed 40 year old Mrs. Catherine Liu. Catherine speaks both Danish, English, French and Mandarin and she will be joining our export sales team with main responsibility for the French marked. She will, on part time basis, also help out in our purchase department.
Farshid
As of 06.03.2017 we have permanently employed Farshid in our warehouse. Farshid will strengthen our existing warehouse team and help with the packing and shipping of the over 85.000 order lines PTI sends out each year.
Two new colleagues in our Sales Team
Rasmus Sæves
To improve our sales team even further, we have employed 27 year old Mr. Rasmus Sæves, since September 1st, 2016. In addition to Danish, Rasmus speaks both German and English fluently. He will join our export sales team, where his main responsibilities will be customer service for Germany, Italy and the Baltic countries.
Leon Lausten
As of November 1st, 2016, we have offered Mr. Leon Lausten, a 22 year old former stock worker of ours, an apprenticeship in our office. He will mainly join the Danish sales team.
In addition to Danish, Leon speaks English fluently and masters a bit of German and French as well.
As the first apprentice in the office, we are looking forward to educate and help develop the qualifications of Leon, and in that capacity hopefully create an interest for a young person to stay in our depopulated region of Denmark.
Calli fix has retired
With a dash of melancholy but also pride, we had to say goodbye to one of our faithful employees, Carl Siewertsen, on 31st December, 2016.
After 20 years of employment with PTI Carl has decided it was time to retire.
Carl, lovingly called Calli among his co-workers, has had many different tasks in our workshop, which he over the years, has executed with great skill and conscience. If there was a solution to a problem Calli could fix it. Luckily for us he has taught our other machine shop worker, Tommy, many of these self-taught skills.
Calli has been a highly valued employee, who for 20 years has made a major contribution to the PTI we are today.
As of 1st October, 2016 we have employed Michael Schlüter, a learned and experienced machine operator who together with Tommy will be responsible for the tasks and challenges carried out in our workshop.
In connection with the expansion of our competencies in rework and adjustments, we have also invested in a CNC milling machine.
Foodtech 1.-3. november 2016 in MCH
PTI will be at this years Foodtech fair in Messecenter Herning.
